USA Incarceration Rate

Image
  Q. Why does US have the most incarcerated?      Incarceration is the state of being confined in prison, typically as punishment for a crime. Every country in the world has a prison system of some sort, though the exact nature of that system as well as the number of prisoners incarcerated within it varies tremendously from country to country.      The United States leads the world in total number of people incarcerated, with more than 2 million prisoners nationwide (per data released in October 2021 by World Prison Brief ).       This number is equivalent to roughly 25% of the world's total prison population and leads to an incarceration rate of 629 people per 100,000, the highest rate in the world.       The prison populations in each U.S. state vary from one to the next, with the highest rates in Louisiana and Oklahoma . PaceMakers

Image
BY: Crystal Douglas Did you know:     If you have a pacemaker, you can put it in your Will to have your pacemaker donated to a dog in need after you pass.     Pacemakers cannot be donated to another human, but they can be donated to dogs with cardiac issues who would depend on it to stay alive.     You can have the pacemaker brought to a vet of your choice. So many of those get thrown away and dogs die because people don't know they can do this.     It even saves the dog's owner the cost of the actual pacemaker which sometimes means the difference in being able to afford lifesaving treatment or not.

Who Holds The Future?

Image
I want to explain something to you. I don't know what your future will be, but I know who really holds it, Jesus. (Psalms 31:15) My times are in thy hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.   You see, you come from a long line of generation, From your parents, they from their parents, an so forth generation to you and you to your child or children and forth. (Psalms 49:11) Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names. Some of you will have a child by 14, others by 20, 30, 40, God's Gift. (Psalms 127)   3. Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.  4. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.  5. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the g...
