Arrogance of humility
Arrogance of humility is that God looks on the heart. People who
trust themselves for their righteousness and at the same time, viewing
others with contempt by thinking they are better than them.
Charles Spurgeon said;
"When asked what is more important; 'Praying or Reading the Bible?'
I ask, 'What is more important: Breathing In or Breathing out?'
Luke 18:9-17
And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:
Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.
The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
And they brought unto him also infants, that he would touch them: but when his disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein.
Being said, "I will never change my personality to make someone like me." Liking me is your choice and hating me is your decision.
Luke 18:11
The Pharisee stood and
prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men
are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.
This other men, are just as spoken that they are extortioners (Ezekiel 22:12) and unjust (Matthew 5:45.) The righteous person will not be an adulterers (Leviticus 20:10) and those who boast (1 Corinthians 3:21) are publican.
Titus 3:5
Not
by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the
Holy Ghost;
The Bible gives us the understanding of how we need to stand with Christ and others, good or bad.
Luke 18:13-14
And
the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes
unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a
sinner.
I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
We seek the depths of heart
and realize we are to judge ourselves by the standard of Jesus, not by what others believe in us or thinks of us.
Luke 18:15-17.
That is, unless we become like infant, we cannot enter the Kingdom of God. Christ is to help us always
understand, we have to be reliant on You alone for our entrance to
heaven.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Luke 18:9-17

Jesus has spoken, that it does not matter how
1. Many degrees you have,
2. Much money you have,
3. Much property you,
4. Many friends you have, and
5. Much good works you have done.
You're not entering the Kingdom through those things of Humanity. You are entering the Kingdom through Jesus Christ only.
