GOD, Jesus foretold of devastation of earth and its population during His time on earth. People have and they are still falling away from Him and God at an alarming rate. Even with all the increasing devastation and disasters happening at hand today. Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. Our KJV Bible teaches, that Jesus Christ holds all of nature together which means that even amidst natural disasters, God remains sovereign and in control. While God could prevent these events if desired, there are instances where He does influence the weather to "get our attention.
